(Ivanova was down in the kitchen cooking when a man in singled bloody armor walked in. She stared for a moment, before regaining compsure. Okay, just go with the crazy, it works out better.)

[Poland didn't recognize the woman in the kitchen from the time they'd spoken, and the sight of a stranger was enough to set off his shyness, making him linger awkwardly in the doorway. He wondered if he could just... hide behind the frame or something. Why were people so hard to talk to in person? And he was pretty sure she was looking at him funny, which made him look away, shuffling his feet slightly.]

...Uh. Like. Hi?

Hi... Did I speak to you on the network? You look like you've been through the ringer.

...Your voice totally sounds familiar. [Slightly less edgy now, yay!]

I'm like, Poland.

[Kitchens are wonderful places because, well, they have food. And beer. The beer is nice too, and everyone runs into each other so it's really convenient, if you ask me.

So Germany decided to go to the kitchen for food I suppose. Or beer, alternatively. Anyway Poland is there so it's a good excuse.]

[Food, beer. Mead. 1410!Poland likes the mead, because he has only just discovered the awesomeness that is vodka, and hasn't quite developed the taste for it that he'll have later on.]

[Poland's just found the cupboard where the mead is, and is reaching up to get into it when Germany comes around. He turns around, and oh, hey, it's the guy whose citizen he just shanked. NOT AT ALL AWKWARD!]

Oh, h-hey! Uh. Like. Germany, right?

[Oh, no, it's all good, The Major is from some weird parallel world.]

Good Afternoon, Poland. Yes, I'm Germany.

[Poland doesn't know that :D]

Yeah, like, thought so. I was just, like, uh... [Doing something other than stabbing a sort-of-German!]

[...Holds up the mead bottle, as though that explains why he's singed, bruised, has cyborg Nazi blood on him, and is bleeding from the temple.]

...getting a drink?

[Angel is hungry again, which isn't really strange if you remember that she is a birdkid who needs a couple of times the food that a normal human would. You can't see her wings right now, since she is wearing her windbreaker and the large wings are tucked in neatly, flat against her back so all you might think would be that she has well trained shoulders, and even that only if you look closer.

She's just back froma flight with Elaine so her hair is a bit tousled and her cheeks are red from the cold air, but she also looks quite elated.

When she notices the person in the kitchen she stops, though and takes a little step back before reaching out for the nation's mind.]

Hello.

[Birdkid paranoia go.]

[At the top of Poland's mind: "Oh, gawd, there's a kid here, and she's totally gonna think I'm like, some crazy murderer or something. 'Kay, next time, it's totally gonna be 'fight the evil child-torturing bastard in the tacky white coat, then change, then come get a snack. Duh. Good job thinking that one through, Poland."]

[More generally, he's also sort of startled and a little edgy because he didn't notice her there, and strangers freak him out. And he was already on edge from the fight.]

H-Hi? [...And he really doesn't sound like an adult. Or like. Very much like a man, yet.]

[And she just giggles at those thoughts because she's never before met someone who thinks valley girl. Sure Nudge talks a bit of it but she doesn't relaly think it, much less this strongly.

Also she spontanously likes Poland now because killing white coats is a good deed in her book.]

How was the fight?

["How does she--oh, right. 'Cause I'm like, covered in blood. Duh again."]

[He grins, a little awkwardly and shyly.]

...I'm like, not dead? ["And he is. Thank God."]
