It seems that a number of that nations - both from mine and Meriken's world - have been leaving lately.

Maybe we should start worrying. Nothing seems to have happened, and yet there was an announcement already.

As much as I'd really like to look on the bright side here, I'm not sure that's the best idea.

It's so strange to think time isn't really passing at home. It's fairly clear that it doesn't, given the accounts from people who have managed to get home for awhile, or the awkward periods of history the nations have come from. It's June, and it was 2010 when I left home, so the football (or, ah, soccer, if you're American) world cup was supposed to be this summer. And although it would be impossible to get anything of that status going here, it might be interesting to have some sort of a football (soccer) tournament.
