Ryohei walked up the Varia's offices a little before one, armed with his duffel bag. He gazed around anxiously, like he had never been there before when just this month alone, he'd been there at least half a dozen times already. Constance was nowhere in sight, as expected, and Ryohei sauntered over to the receptionist to have her called down.

As he waited for her, Ryohei thought that it would be bad for his image to look pathetic and nervous like that, and went through the different quick meditiation fixes in his head, the same ones he went through before a boxing fight. He squared his shoulders, took a deep breath, and let an easy smile linger on his lips.

Today, he was going to win. Genmitsu ni!

Constance says Hi! <3 lethaldiva November 28 2008, 02:50:44 UTC
Constance rushed out of the elevator not only because she knew Ryohei was waiting but because there was a guy inside who didn't seem to know that perfumes will never hide one's stench. Honestly. People. Hygeine.

Her heels clicked on the marble tiles as she walked hurried towards the lobby.

"Sasagawa-kun!" she called, waving her arm just in case he doesn't see her.

"Constance, hi!" he greeted, brightening upon seeing her. She seemed more friendly all of a sudden? She had probably read his poem for Li... she read everything, after all! Did she approve? He wanted to ask but the lobby wasn't the place for it. Lissuria might get angrier with him if he became the topic of rumors.

He met her halfway, shaking her hand as if he wasn't just there the day before. "Um, am I too early?"

"Just a little. Early is good in this business. I'll take you up to the studio and the dressing room?" Constance was nicer than usual today. For one, Ryohei was a model for today and as if by habit, she was naturally kinder to models. She lead him towards the elevator, pressing the button for the studio.

She glanced at what the boxer had brought, a large gym bag which he really didn't have to bring. They did have the props in the studio.

Out of curiosity, the girl peeked at the boxer's hand and asked "What's in that bag?"

"UM!" Ryohei said, quickly doing as told and nearly ripping the coat sleeves in the process. His shirt was usually looser than this! "Like this?"

"GREAT!!" There was a flash, a couple of other clicks here and there, some strange posing and some strange smiles when the photographer finally went to the editorial desk to drop his pictures.

Constance rushed to Ryohei, doing what she had done earlier, stripping the man's shirt of and helping him slip on an orange one. As she did this, another man came to Ryohei and started to put pomade and wax on his hair, brushing it up to give it some volume. "Just a quick make-over, Ryohei. No need to worry about it." Constance and the hairdresser were finished by the time the photographer returned with a large grin on his face. Ryohei looked like an entirely different man altogether. Some girls were suddenly giving him a second look when they saw how dashing he looked.

"So, Sasagawa-kun," the photographer instructed, "I want you to think slick, I want you to embody confidence, strength, amazing-ness, and sunshine. All rolled into one. Can you do that for the camera, boy?"

"You, what?" he asked, dumbfounded. His hair felt kind of heavy. And sticky. And the shirt was a weird orange color. Confidence, strength, amazing-ness and sunshine? Well... he was a boxer and he was used to being like that already. Except maybe the slick part. It wasn't like he could deliberately be slick, right?

Or could he. Ah, well, for La Diva he would try.

"Hmm, how's this?" He casually put a hand against his pocket as he raised his arm up to the wall, making as if to lean against it in a pose like a playboy coming in a room full of girls and taking his time surveying his, ah, harem while at the door. Or something. He saw it in movies all the time. Feeling that he was missing something, Ryohei smiled a lopsided smile, throwing the camera a smirk.

"Love it!!" The cameras continued to click and roll as the photographer beckoned "Give me more, Ryohei!! THINK DASHING!! A POSE THAT WOULD MAKE ANY LADY FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU!!"

Ryohei had just been putting his shirt on in the dressing room, excited and also a little nervous that he was facing Lissuria for the first time in a while. He was so used to seeing Lissuria nearly every day that now that he hadn't see him in over three weeks, Ryohei was finding himself at a loss for what to do.

First would be to get dressed. Which consisted of him throwing a shirt on and stuffing the jacket in his duffel. When he walked out of the dressing room, though, Lissuria was gone.

"Constance!" he cried, dismayed, running up to the woman. "Where's Li?" He had been so ready, too! But Li was gone? The look on his face could have broken hearts.

"Oh. He went back to his office." Constance answered, struggling to keep the printing plates in her arms. "Do you know the way up? I guess not." The secretary tossed the plates to a crossing intern before taking Ryohei by the wrist and to the elevator ( ... )

And he was being dragged along and led to other parts of the building, just like a small kid being taken around the mall. End of the hall, right!

"Thank you!" he called out, a little uncertain but ready again! He took a breath and made for the said office, strides sure. Be himself, she said. Not that he had a choice, considering that he was always himself, but 'himself' had caused this mess in the first place. What if he only hurt Lissuria further and ruined things even more? Even Li did not have the patience of buddha. He could leave.

Although if he did, Ryohei could always follow him, he supposed.

"Li?" he asked as he knocked on the door and poked his head inside. He was ready with a smile, but it was not as big as he would have liked it to be.

"Come in," Lissuria spoke tersely, looking at his screen and his screen alone . He just has to make it through the interview and then THAT'S IT. Nothing more, if he intends not to be a part of Ryohei's life. That's how Lissuria planned about leaving the boxer's life.

Lissuria glared at the boxer, asking in sarcasm, "What does wisdom have to do with it, Ryohei? And how much would that copious amount of wisdom make a difference?"

He turned back to his computer, no less wrung out than earlier. "It's best for us this way, Ryohei. You don't have to worry about me nor do I have to hope on you anymore. Go get a girl and get married, Ryohei." The last few words were a little hard to swallow for Lissuria. But that was the truth. And that was something he has learned to accept the past few weeks.

"But I don't want a girl!" he exploded, never having been a patient man in the first place. Three weeks of this and he was at the end of his well-worn patience already. "I want you! I've been trying to tell you BUT YOU KEEP ON BRUSHING ME OFF! What do I have to do to prove it?!"

"BUT WHY WOULD YOU WANT ME!?! I'M A FAGGOT! A FABULOUS CROSS DRESSER THAT COULD SCARE THE SHENANIGANS OUT OF YOUR PARENTS!?! WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WOULD CHOOSE ME OVER A SWEET GIRL THAT YOU CAN SHAG AND HAVE LOTS OF CHILDREN WITH!? IF YOU WERE INDEED WISER, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT I'M ACTUALLY A MAN AND NOT THE LADY THAT I INSIST THAT I AM! YOU DO UNDERSTAND THIS, RIGHT!?! DON'T SAY UNNECESSARY THINGS!!" Lissuria shouted from the top his lungs, angry over the thought that Ryohei could be playing with his emotions again. He slammed his hand on his table for every crucial point he made. He had to make things clear.

Had Ryohei said this a few weeks back, Lissuria would have been swooned and probably crying in joy to hear it. But right now, this isn't exactly what he wanted to here. Why does Ryohei have to make his life more difficult? He was already willing to let go.

Startled and more than taken aback, Ryohei blinked and stepped back from Lissuria's raving. And then his eyes narrowed and he caught the diva's wrist in his hand once again.

"BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE ELSE LIKE YOU, YOU HUGE IDIOT!" he shouted just as loudly, being good at being loud. "YOU'RE MORE IMPORTANT TO ME THAN SOME GIRL!" he added at the top of his lungs, uncaring if everyone else in the building could hear him. "AND OF COURSE I KNOW THAT YOU'RE A MAN! WE GO TO THE GYM EVERY DAY! I WOULD BE AN IDIOT IF I THOUGHT YOU WERE A WOMAN! I JUST TREAT YOU LIKE ONE, BUT THAT IS DIFFERENT! AND I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE EITHER, AURGH!" He shook him by his arm, frustrated beyond belief.
