"Oh. He went back to his office." Constance answered, struggling to keep the printing plates in her arms. "Do you know the way up? I guess not." The secretary tossed the plates to a crossing intern before taking Ryohei by the wrist and to the elevator.
"Now, if I were you, take advantage of your time in that office. Lissuria's going to conduct your interview, although that's kind of pointless since he pretty much knows a lot about your life already. God, I swear, when he really puts his heart into things, he gives them his all, even if it frigging breaks him. And I'm not saying you were a bad guy, just thick... and frigging d-- Oh! We're here." Constance could have continued on her monologue if only the elevator didn't open its doors. She stepped out after Ryohei and immediately went on his way to fussing over him, smoothing his shirt and combing his hair until he looks mildly more presentable than earlier.
"Lili's office is at the end of the hall. Just knock. Smile. Be yourself. And Good luck." With that Constance clapped Ryohei's shoulder before pushing him towards the direction of Lissuria's office. They've all been waiting for this. She just hopes things go well between the two.
And he was being dragged along and led to other parts of the building, just like a small kid being taken around the mall. End of the hall, right!
"Thank you!" he called out, a little uncertain but ready again! He took a breath and made for the said office, strides sure. Be himself, she said. Not that he had a choice, considering that he was always himself, but 'himself' had caused this mess in the first place. What if he only hurt Lissuria further and ruined things even more? Even Li did not have the patience of buddha. He could leave.
Although if he did, Ryohei could always follow him, he supposed.
"Li?" he asked as he knocked on the door and poked his head inside. He was ready with a smile, but it was not as big as he would have liked it to be.
"Come in," Lissuria spoke tersely, looking at his screen and his screen alone . He just has to make it through the interview and then THAT'S IT. Nothing more, if he intends not to be a part of Ryohei's life. That's how Lissuria planned about leaving the boxer's life.
He paused at the door at the curt greeting, but did as told, sitting himself down on the chair in front of Lissuria's desk. It was a messy desk, and he found himself wondering how much Lissuria had overworked himself the past few weeks.
Lissuria headed to his mini-fridge and grabbed a bottle of Gatorade, placing it in front of Ryohei afterwards. "Don't be so courteous. You're a guest in this office, take it as a gift from me." Lissuria wished he had not said that so harshly. Did he?
When he sat down in his chair, he grabbed his recorder and a series of questions that the staff listed down for the interview. With his fountain pen, Lissuria ticked the first question asking, "How do you feel now that you have won the Lightweight Boxing Championship?"
This Lissuria was really a little terrifying! But Ryohei came there with a purpose, so he steeled himself, took the Gatorade, and took a drink. "Thanks," he mumbled, and answered the question.
"I was very happy when I won. Now I feel that I've reached one of my goals in life, that I have been working very hard for for a while! It's an extreme feeling!"
Lissuria smiled, only because he knew how much pride Ryohei had in winning that trophy. The rest of the questions were quite easy, some of which Lissuria knew too well since he had seen the boxer's career rise in front of him. A part of him went down on memory lane as Ryohei told stories in the gym, the difficult diet that he followed, and his little moments of victory as a boxer. Ryohei's story was moving, something the ladies would love to read. Maybe he could get a girlfriend after the spread. That's right, after this, a lot of girls would want to have Ryohei.
Lissuria decided that it is best to start moving outside his world.
As soon as the last question was done, he stood up and extended his hand to the boxer. "Well, thank you for stopping by the La Diva office. We'll be putting your cover on the shelves by Monday."
That was it? Nothing else? Ryohei was on his feet before he knew he had stood up, and had grabbed Lissuria by the wrist with an iron grip. Perhaps it hurt, but Lissuria was an athlete, himself, and Ryohei ignored that. "Wait, Li! Talk to me, will you?"
You do not hold a lady like that, Ryohei. ;_;lethaldivaNovember 30 2008, 07:40:32 UTC
"We've already talked what we're supposed to talk about, Ryohei. All the questions have been answered and that's enough. You may leave my office now. I've got an article to finish." Lissuria forcefully tugged his hand back and sat down on his chair, grabbing a cigarette from his drawer. Being held like that scared him. More of, at some point, he wished that Ryohei had tugged him closer. And he honestly did not want that right now.

"Don't be like that," he protested, resting his hand on the desk and leaning over, nearly looming over Lissuria if he had been capable of being intimidating. "I just want to talk and make up and fix things. Don't be--" he stopped, "Don't be cold."
TSUNDERE LISSURIA YOU WILL HAVE! T3TlethaldivaNovember 30 2008, 07:47:23 UTC
"Make up what, Ryohei? There was nothing made so there was nothing that needed to be fixing. If you want to know, I'm fine. Really. I hope that's clear enough for you." Lissuria kept his eye on his computer, his hand holding on to the mouse just to keep it from trembling. Somehow, the cigarette he was smoking was not helping. At all.
In a daring move, he reached over, grabbed the cigarette, and put it out on the ashtray on the table. "Look at me and say that again, Li," he demanded. "Say that you'll be fine like this. You really don't miss me? Am I the only one who misses you?"
We're here."
