I think I'm going crazy at the moment. I'm seriously thinking of seeing bands that I don't like musically for the hell of it. I mean, the tickets are only $20 for most of the shows so it's not like I'm paying an arm and a leg for them. Aww you don't like Kamelot? They're pretty awesome live lol

I've listened to Dragonforce more than once but found them boring :P

You've been reading my journal since 2004 and you didn't know I like the Backstreet Boys? Yeah they're a guilty pleasure and my cousin is insisting that I see them live :)

Haha actually I think I did know at some point but I must have forgotten..you don't talk about liking them a lot haha. When I said my comment it actually sounded a bit familiar. Oops :P

Well... I've attended for some shows of bands I don't like only for the headbanging and see more metal shows live; bands like HammerFall, Angra, KISS, Arch Enemy, Crade of Filth, Vision Divine (but actually I like them a lot, ha ha! their show was really AWESOME!!) and Children of Bodom. Also I saw live The Strokes and The White Stripes because I'm crazy too ;)

I'll see Sodom on september and Ratt opening for Symphony X in october. Oh! and I die for see Helloween/Gamma Ray again *cries* and obviously win the contest for the meeting (yeah, the stupids chileans promotors made a CONTEST for a meet and greet... and I'm a bad luck girl so I didn't win).

Don't feel bad and enjoy all the shows ;)

This will be my 3rd time seeing both bands this year. And luckily I don't need a contest to meet them, just a VIP ticket ;)

Ahah, yeah, I totally understand that! I'm also planning to go see CoB/Slipknot in November if work allows (and Sabaton in Switzerland...*sigh*) - I don't even LIKE CoB! But they entertain me live and they're fun and Janne is hot like burning and he and Alexi have no shame, so...

And Tony Kakko's inexplicable hotness is definitely a good reason to see them live. I know, I've seen them four times! (but Tony's true pure love is with Hennka! You know it's true!)

(Also? I will be calling them Lamealot FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE now. Hee!)

Hee hee, good to know I'm not the only one going just to see Janne and Alexi go at it. And this will be a headlining show so there might be even more slashyness. I plan on bringing my camera so I can get a few shots for posterity ;)

Well it fits. They were dull at Wacken from what I saw of them in the Avantasia signing line. My co-worker and I plan on leaving shortly after Edguy is done. We might check out a few songs of Kamelot but I doubt it.

Boy, you must be a bit touched, Heather. Never thought I would see a band that I like mentioned on your blog. lol. :) Bryan and I both like BRMC, but we liked Peter Hayes back with Brian Jonestown Massacre before he ever started BRMC.

Nah, though I thought it would have been amusing crossing paths with you there. But I'm not really a show kind of guy. But have fun! Not sure drone-y kind of rock will be your cup of tea, but you never know.

Ah, ok. Yeah my friend H sent me a few of their tracks. Though the only I'm digging at the moment is "Ain't No Easy Way". It's supposed to be played during their show so I guess I picked a good one :)
