I Must Be Losing My Head
I think I'm going crazy at the moment. I'm seriously thinking of seeing bands that I don't like musically for the hell of it. I mean, the tickets are only $20 for most of the shows so it's not like I'm paying an arm and a leg for them. Still, it is odd to attend a show on the premise of staring at the band members and not singing the songs. Weird.
The ones I'm thinking of seeing are:
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - 9/7
Nightwish/Sonata Arctica - 9/9
Children of Bodom - 9/23
The only reason I'm curious about BRMC is because H from Rockfic says they are awesome live. She might be a bit biased considering she's seen them live around 10 times.
As for the Nightwish/Sonata Arctica gig, I just want to see Sonata Arctica again. And you'll laugh at the reason why. It's because I think Tony is kind of cute. Plus he's more than likely to flirt with the cute guitar guy at some point during the set. I mean, how can I miss that? :)
Lastly, COB is just to watching Alexi and Janne make out on stage. Seriously. They actually get so into the music that they usually end up sharing a kiss on stage. I didn't believe it at first until I saw various videos on YouTube about it. Instant slash on stage, that's a total no-brainer. Too bad their music sucks or it would be a match made in heaven.
So if you add all of those to my already hefty list of shows, it looks like I'll be out quite a bit very soon O_O
