About two months to go, most everything is down to simply scheduling at this point and I'm doin' fine. How's everyone out here? Have you seen my cats? They can ride unicycles.

The Lovely Carly had her bachelorette party last night and a second bridal shower this afternoon (the first one was a small one from my family, today its her much larger family). Busy week. We got a DJ for the wedding, booked the reverend, reconnected with a Hamster-lovin' gal who may have a line on some calligraphy, and I booked the honeymoon cruise to the Mediterranean. Its another graduation day, Carly is coming back today, and I haven't updated this journal in a dog's age, so I really have nothing to add beyond this sentence.

I am home alone for the first time in ages on a weekend. Carly went to an alumni reunion for her old sorority and won't be back until sometime tomorrow. So, its just me and the cats. I think I can keep myself occupied and out of trouble for that long ( Read more... )

The Lovely Carly and I went to Tim's for a small barbecue yesterday. And Dad...apologized to her. Sincerely. He was teasing her last time he saw her a little, she got really hurt I learned later, and I told Mom, Mom told Dad off, I said something, and Dad told Carly he was very sorry. I had a kid fall asleep in class today. It happens. But I woke him up pretty quickly and he said he wasn't sleeping. No, he claimed he was praying.

I got a good laugh out of that and let him off with a warning.

In case both my readers were interested, classes resumed a week and a half ago. So far so good.
