The project is well within my building capabilities, and I'm actually excited about the idea of selling plans and kits. Attic Insulation
This is quite amazing. We had 6" of fiberglass insulation in the attic, and recently increased that to 18" with cellulose. Fixed some small air leaks in the basement also. It would ordinarily be in the low '50's upstairs with just the woodstove going in the basement and our outside thermometer saying 26deg, but the inside's been at 60. I never ( Read more... ) -

Upcoming in the Tao, or Tao Teh Ching, are the sutras dealing with Teh, which from all appearances represents the Great Mother/Prima Materia/First Matter. I have some metaphors mixed up in my head at the moment, so I'm going to think about this for a bit. -
The Tao, sutra 77
This sutra needs no explanation, but it is such sweet, sane wisdom.
Is not the Tao like the drawn bow? The highest part is lowered, the lowest part is raised, overall depth is lengthened.
So Tao lowers the highest and raises the lowest (damn liberals! ;-) reality does seem to have a liberal bias). But the Tao of man increases the high and decreases ( Read more... ) -
