So. There was this plug, plugged into a power supply on the floor, and i had to unplug it. i leaned down and, balancing myself on my right hand, reached for the plug with my left. It's official, i did break my finger three weeks ago. i suppose my estimation of pain is a bit off: about 10 years ago i broke my leg, and even though at that moment, the pain was fierce, i remember lying on the ground wondering, is it broken, or just sprained?
