That was a very impressive fic. I loved the dialoge and I cannot agree more with your words about beauty. I think that would be very true for Baldwin.
What is more, there was a wonderful feel about this fic, a sort of quietness and... reality. I liked the way you dealt with the two main characters, I think you caught something there.

I think o_@ in this context means more like "that particular story made my eyes pop out of my head a few times, but in a good way." ^_^

Okey dokey, check the reply to bagelmuffin_luv above... I've got a few real links and some vague directions, but hopefully it's at least marginally useful. I haven't hit a really bad KoH fic yet -- but it's the kind of fandom that doesn't tend to attract people who aren't really willing to think about it, so that's a good sign for the quality of its fic. ^_^

If you can take some serious slash smut, the_lepic really is an entertaining read. A bit more feminizing of Baldwin than I can agree with, but... oh well. It's all such silliness, anyway, but mixed with just enough gravity to make its length worthwhile.

I agree that Baldwin would appreciate the honesty of Saladin's reply, especially from someone he has come to respect so much. This was a lovely and very poignant story... brava, and hope to see more.

Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it. I like writing small character stories like this just to display one or two ideas, like the whole beauty vs. honesty thing here, but those always run the risk of feeling pointless. So I'm very glad that this one worked.
