Reno did not want to wake up. Reno was wide awake, laying there in his bed, his face shoved as far into his pillow as he could manage without asphyxiating himself, but this did not yet mean that he had actually woken up.

Tamaki didn't have class until third period, so he'd allowed himself to sleep in a little bit. In actuality, he was very exhausted - he'd slept very fitfully over the weekend for fear of a strangely drunk and bewigged roomie. Because, in his mind, that was totally Reno, he just was really, really wigged out. Or drunk. Or bitten by a gremlin, like John had suggested. Right?

Once he awoke, he carefully sat up and ventured to peer at Reno's bed. He nearly shouted in surprise to see that Reno was actually lying in it! The real Reno! Not the weird one ( ... )

Tamaki tossed his head, sending his golden blonde hair bouncing about in a gesture of vanity. "But, Reno, if it was me, I would still transform into a creature of the utmost beauty. There is no other way."

"Oh come on, Tamaki, pal. Don't you think you've gone and tainted the world enough with your sparkles and roses? Give the poor planet a break, yoto."

This was said entirely in good spirits. Wild.

"Don't tell me you're from a place that doesn't have flowers," Reno said, raising an eyebrow. "I grew up under a chunk of metal, and even I know what roses are, yo."

It was official. Tamaki was weird.

No, really, Tamaki wasn't aware that he made sparkles and roses appear all over the place. That was normal where he came from!

"Uh... well, there are a lot of flowers where I came from..." He stood there, wondering why his roommate was so darn strange.
