returned last night from what has now expanded into two weeks in the desert. Had a great time, although between working and the weather, I didn't get to see many folks who weren't camping with me. So, I clicked on a link in an email I received from Avaaz, and  signed a petition calling on the Chinese government to respect human rights in Tibet and engage in meaningful dialogue with the Dalai Lama.   A small thing; won't be heard by China, but it stands for something important.  And, who knows, if a million people actually sign it, perhaps ( Read more... )
