A healthy soul seeks out what it lacks. There is an implication in sadness, that you lack any beauty of your own. Therefore it is only natural to find it with more ease externally. I worry when you all get sad, and cannot see the beauty that surrounds you.

Exactly. You're down. You see the beauty you do not have. You want to be not down, you want that beauty. Worry when you're down, and you can't see that beauty. Then there's something really wrong.
