Bleh, The snow is finally melting. Again. Maybe this time it'll be what the kids call for reals. The untimely weather cratered my weekend yard plans. Forgot to make a supper with leftovers last night, composing a lunch cost me 15 minutes. Shortly upon arrival at the office, I discover the web server is down, probably 'cause someone powered it off. Gasgesgos & we're discussing the VGL concert & he thought they might be coming through Winnipeg. I just checked their schedule; they are in fact coming to the peg & tickets go on sale tomorrow. We had a good time at casino night. I went as bedroom James Bond; someone took pictures & I'll post some as soon as I get a hold of them. Recalling a lesson from my undergrad stats class, I busted out the Labouchère system and doubled an investment at the roulette wheel. Made it home. Train schedule was a mess and I'm not quite all there yet. We stopped a couple miles from the depot for about an hour waiting for the seriously delayed opposite bound train to get off our track. Tales of my travels will be forth coming. -

My immune system is finally come up to speed & is victoriously fending off t3h sinus virus. It's amazing how great it feels to not be miserable; my new team mascot is a leukocyte.

Turns out I'm going to the Kennedy Space Center in a couple months for a conference. And a gala. Crazy. I was hoping a certain girlfriend would be able to travel with (like I know the protocol for attending a gala), but it's not looking like that'll happen.
