All in all, Orycon was fun. It felt like a gentle con, not a lot of shouting, good crowds but not overwhelming. A full schedule without being overwhelming. 31 authors signed up for the Author Fest at Powells Beaverton last night. Yesterday I finished up the final copy edit/continuity check draft of "Thistle Down" by Irene Radford for its June release. I hit the send button to my editor at 2:30 PM. At 3:30 PM the Fed Ex truck arrived with page proofs for "Forest Moon Rising" by P.R. Frost. I have to have those pages back in New York by 11/15. I have Orycon 11/12-14. ( Read more... )

Orycon starts in just a few hours. i haven't started packing yet. Just organizing stuff in piles. And we have an hour drive to get there. Sigh.

Guess I'd better sign off and go do something useful. If I have connectivity and time to catch my breath I may check in. But don't plan on it.
