I like many others was burned by Kira. I was skeptical when she returned this time around. I agree that the file sharing should have been taken down and I posted a comment on Kira's blog stating that since the work was no longer posted she shouldn't be posting people's names on her blog bitching them out. I also posted saying that it was inappropriate for her to be throwing around the work "unproffessional". i was very poite about it and was very supportive of her in the comment. She deleted my post, and blocked me from the blog. I unfriended her on facebook, I'm positive that she's up to her old tricks and this censorship is proof.
I really hoped that she was healthy again and ready to focus on her writing... aparrently drama an vindictive behavior is her real focus once again. I wish her the best, but I wanted people to know exactly what's going on.

At best, I feel all I can wish Kira is that she gets placed into a mental care facility (padded walls optional) because as the past has shown, she is not well and can't take care of herself. She needs someone to make sure she's taking her medication and to keep an eye on her behaviour.

From a young age (two? five?), they fully realize that they simply don't feel. Well, I mean, they don't feel as others feel -- bad for a sick dog, guilty for stealing, etc. So they learn to mimic "normal" folks.
Her responses are shallow and random -- and she speaks/thinks "a million miles an hour" -- because she is acting. She is not thinking or feeling most of these things genuinely; she does not understand that Other People Are Real. She's actually throwing on cloak after cape after hat, trying to convince us of many a thing... but don't worry about her, as she is only doing these things to meet her own ends. Not yours, and never-will-be yours ( ... )

If you would respond to my emails we could resolve your refund issue. All I need to know is WHERE to send the refund, at this point, or if suspect now that, in fact, you don't actually want a refund. You want to be able to rant about me in your journal.
I'll be amazed if you let this post go through. Seriously, why wouldn't I want this issue resolved? Take the bloody refund and stop griping!

Do I check my Spam folder? Yes daily. Why was it in the trash in the first place? Well since I *blocked* you some time ago, my email probably just sends emails from blocked people straight to the trash.
Why haven't I responded? I have been busy with other things the past couple of days so I haven't had time to sit down and give your email the proper response. Unless you would rather I send one with me screaming and raging at your about this whole thing ;)

I've sent several notes apologizing to you but none of them have gone through. This is my last note.
You deserved better. It is not so much the refund that was at issue, because I think you must realize now you would have gotten it eventually, though not as quickly as you might have wanted. The issue was the way I responded to your requests, like some high school girl bent on revenge for someone stealing her boyfriend. The way I treated you was wrong, disrespectful, and highly unprofessional. Your views about me should not have mattered or influenced the way I treated you.
Since you have rejected my offer of a free book and Lifetime Membership, I consider this matter settled.
Enjoy the rest of your life.

I'm not sure if it would cost anything or how much, but see if you can get some legal advice on the matter and someone professional to send a little nudge. Keep any correspondence from her as well in case you need it down the road. I'm sure if she suddenly gets an email from someone professional requesting the refund & reminding her that she's legally obligated to do so and risks charges refusing, she'll a) shit her pants and b) send you that refund. One day she's going to get a huge lawsuit on her ass for how she's been treating people over the years.
Anyone who does think Kira is a nice person likely won't be looking at this page, since we have minds & opinions that differ from Kira and aren't afraid to let her know.
