Hello, I currently stumbled upon your post after my recent run in with Kira Takenouchi. I too thought she had stopped writing and when I was told yesterday that she had started back up and was asking people for money to her site and fic again, I sent her an email requesting a refund. Instead of her being civil, here is what occurred. I'm posting this concerned for anyone who believes she is a nice person to be trusted with other people's money. If you pay her for fanfiction or access, please be cautious.

(The following are direct quotes from our emails from yesterday and today)

Me: "How are you? It was brought to my attention that you have started a new fiction website that allows people to access it for about $8 I think. Due to this, it made me do a bit of investigating into your last endeavor and my past transactions to you for your previous fiction/services and I realized that I never received my money back from previous membership and book payments to you. Looking back, I noticed three transactions that are still pending a refund from you to me."

Kira: "All this was refunded back to your card TWO YEARS AGO, along with everyone else."

Me: "Okay, please send the date(s) and any additional information/proof when this was refunded and I can check my account history. Thank you"

Kira: "Lady, you are two years too late. No one is going to talk to you now. USE YOUR ORIGINAL RECEIPT to contact your credit card company. Guess what? They are going to laugh their asses off when you tell them this is regarding a TWO YEAR OLD PURCHASE.
You missed your opportunity for any sort of refund a long time ago. The company you purchased these items from and for WHICH YOU WERE REIMBURSED went bankrupt two years ago.
I have nothing further to say to you or your freak friend [name removed], so kindly FUCK OFF or go fuck each other."

Me: "I do not understand nor appreciate your rude tone towards me. My emails to you were very civil and adult. I did not wish to cause this to get ugly, but if I have to legal action I will. Under the law, I have three years to file a lawsuit against you. As I purchased items that you promised in writing, then the responsibility falls on you. Since you are currently not cooperating and are being very unkind and threatening towards me, I will research to see if the refunds where given for the amount I mentioned, if not, legal action will be taken."

Kira: "Good luck with that you stupid bitch"

The sad thing is is this is more or less the reaction I got from her. Keep pressing her about the issue. You are entitled to the refund and you don't deserve the treatment she's giving you. This is basically how she reacts to anything negative.
I'm not sure if it would cost anything or how much, but see if you can get some legal advice on the matter and someone professional to send a little nudge. Keep any correspondence from her as well in case you need it down the road. I'm sure if she suddenly gets an email from someone professional requesting the refund & reminding her that she's legally obligated to do so and risks charges refusing, she'll a) shit her pants and b) send you that refund. One day she's going to get a huge lawsuit on her ass for how she's been treating people over the years.
Anyone who does think Kira is a nice person likely won't be looking at this page, since we have minds & opinions that differ from Kira and aren't afraid to let her know.
