I desperately love Buzzer Beat. It was the ONLY drama I watched while in Taiwan, which definitely says something, since I did nothing in Taiwan (EXCEPT FOR BEING AWESOME).

Naoki was a bit bland. Hugely vanilla. But I have to say, when he saved that bug instead of killing it, I was SOLD. The shirtlessness didn't hurt much either.

Are Pi and Keiko still dating IRL? Somehow that makes me happy.

I have no idea! But I hope they are, since his BFF Jin is now trying to be a Serious American Artist and he must be so handsome and lonely. Er, I don't know what being handsome has to do with it, my hands just typed that automatically.

I love them all. Even bitch!girlfriend (I don't like Saki much, but I did think her character was awesome... She was just so two-faced and awesomely bitchy. I did hate her half the time, but hey, you can't have everything)!

Things kind of fell apart for me in the last couple of eps, but all that really mattered was RIKO.

Yeah, I wound up skimming everything from "but we CAN'T BE TOGETHER because I'm LEAVING and clearly we live in an alternate reality without cellphones or webcams." But it was delicious while it lasted.

I think dramas are obsessed with waiting. Like waiting for your OTP, enduring the pain of separation for your OTP, etc. Like your love isn't worthy unless it's been tested.

I LOVED BUZZER BEAT. And I agree with everything you've said, the cuteness of the main OTP, the cuteness of the secondary OTP, the awesomeness of Naoki's cheating girlfriend, the wonderfulness of Riko, and Naoki, and RIKO. BUZZER BEAT, YOU ARE AWESOME.

Yesssss! It was one of those things where I LOVED EVERYONE. EVEN THE DRAMA-MAKING SECONDARY CHARACTERS, BECAUSE THEY WERE JUST THAT AWESOME.
