hee, I havent opened my laptop in 2 days. So this is one of the first things I see. and I'm so glad I can count on you to bring the goods. I want to watch this badly but first I must know! Does it end well? sort of well? I dont mind a tragic ending, Hero a wuxia film with Jet Li had a tragic ending but it was a beautiful film and i loved it cause it had a clear enough ending and wrap up and the lovers DID get to be together, albeit only in the after life. So yeah I wanna know what to expect. It looks gorgeous. but wait is it a film or a series? I really dont have time for series now but a film like that would be great *__*

ETA: Oh darn, it seems it IS a series. I'm afraid I lack the patience for 14 hours wworth of this, lovely though it looks. I am however considering rewatching Hero now. lol

You're in luck! It was a drama based on a film. Though I've never seen the movie, so I have no idea if it's any good.

I found the ending quite satisfying, personally. YMMV. I can't say much else without spoilers. XD It's one of those "the beginning is the end" dramas, so if you want to check out the first episode, you can decide for yourself.

I liked the movie but like the drama more.

Btw, curious - did you watch the Korean version (actors' voices but chopped down to 14 eps) or the Chinese version (full length but Chinese dub). I have the latter but it's loooong so I am debating the merits of switching to a more concise one.

You'll to tell me if the timeskip happens the same way in the Chinese version. Because if the kdrama was chopped for time, maybe it was less wtf in the original. XD
