Dreamt about being at the Stowe's house this morning. Kind of similar to their real one, but two stories and wider, more akin to what you'd see in catalogs or advertisements; I'm sure there's a concept there about the platonic ideal of a house. This essay is combining recent (okay, over a month old) discussions on plutocracy, year old discussions on socialism, and a stark realization within the last two days.

As is my wont, I found that, while I unquestionably accomplished a lot, I lost out on some fun to be had by trying to hit particular goals.
I also found that, while I certainly don't regret anything I did, and the specific details were once-in-a-lifetime experiences, I think the most fun I had involved friends.
