Dreamt about being at the Stowe's house this morning. Kind of similar to their real one, but two stories and wider, more akin to what you'd see in catalogs or advertisements; I'm sure there's a concept there about the platonic ideal of a house. Griffin, Judson, Neil, Randy, and Theresa were there, and Judson was showing us a first-person shooter with Lego characters. I tried it out, and landed my character in a ridiculously complicated scene zipping up a grappling hook with one hand while shooting with the other, but it somehow managed to survive.Had another long rambling discussion with Marcio; we both have lots of brain-wanderings. Returned late and skippy after an intimate gathering at the Stowes' home with
moonchain and
rangerwickett sharing stories. Too much food (especially sweets), seriously cranked up with probably forty people all told; I like meeting everyone, I have a hard time with the press and the volume. My iPod costume was enjoyed, although for the first my forgetting a few artist friends was a mistake (I picked "artists" as the screen I was on, and listed some artists I know), and for the second I probably should have prepared a small list of songs I know (or mostly-know) to be ready for people pushing my buttons. Ate smores around a fire. Joined
raoin,
cailement, Ryam, and a small group of others for the Death Reverence Ceremony, and remembered Len to them; it seems we all lost a grand-someone in the last two years. Jokey flirting on the couch. Loaned my horns to Marcio, he loaned me a jump rope which I turned into earbuds (clear with a visible wire inside, it worked splendidly): I also had a paper list of "artists" taped to my chest, a CD cover over my bellybutton with icons drawn on (|<<, >>|, > ||, +, and -), and an apple on my back. I successfully made Mountains of Madness, but it has to stay frozen to work; not sure if I'm going to experiment further. While I was shopping (only $57 for a month! We'll see how it lasts...), Fugue in D Minor came on their in-store playlist. I seem to have met a ridiculous number of attractive women over a short period. And finally, all of this happened backwards (except the previous sentence, which was scattered across three days and included the Stowes').
