In American football news, I am not really a Niners fan, but consider me an "anyone but the Ravens" fan. GO NINERS!

I know word has already spread, but I want to make sure that people know that valerie_z has passed away. Her sister, talula728, has posted two explanations here and here. I had the chance to meet Valerie several years ago and always followed her ups and downs on LJ with interest. Despite her struggles, she remained brilliant and hilarious.
