As far as my actual school work is concerned, I don't need much time. It is my... extracurricular studies which I find occupying a great deal of time.

Now it would seem like I have to care about those students. It is going to be wretched to pretend to be nice to all that filth.

Can you believe that Lupin already had the nerve to warn me to be fair? Like I would our rightly jeopardize my position at school. What they don't know won't hurt them.

Take comfort in the fact that, while you may need to be pretend to be nice to them, you can also punish them whenever you see fit.

At least the responsibility was passed on to someone who knows how to use the position. Narcissa was also made a Prefect, as you may have heard, but you can't depend on her to do the right thing.
