At least the responsibility was passed on to someone who knows how to use the position. Narcissa was also made a Prefect, as you may have heard, but you can't depend on her to do the right thing.

He will. And it will certainly be good to have someone like him to help balance all the Mudbloods and Muggle-loving prefects in other houses.
