Long-time comics illustrator and editor who died this morning. I think I may have once very briefly been introduced to him, but don't recall any substantial interaction with him. Take a look at this video of the Buckaroo Banzai end credits, particularly around the 40 second mark. Pretty much everything about Buckaroo's appearance; hair, headshape, outfit, strikes me as being pretty similar to what we've seen so far of Matt Smith's Doctor Who.

Japanese cartoon video from what seems to be a regular, educational, show for young kids about how to use the toilet. Rather surreal, and I'm sure all the parents who watch it think "If only toilet training was that quick and easy". Odd bit of live action product placement at the end. Subtitled in English.

Improv Everywhere's latest performance; passing out a couple of thousand "invisible dog" leashes out in Brooklyn on a Sunday afternoon.
