Take a look at this video of the Buckaroo Banzai end credits, particularly around the 40 second mark. Pretty much everything about Buckaroo's appearance; hair, headshape, outfit, strikes me as being pretty similar to what we've seen so far of Matt Smith's Doctor Who.
