It took four flights, one delay, one cancellation, one route change, and some bumpiness, but I made it back to Ithaca in one day only one hour late. Full update on San Antonio and the trip after I cherish the experience of a good night's sleep.

Change can be good. I like the new scoreboard at Assembly Hall. Traditions can start today. Memorial Stadium has The Rock thanks to Terry Hoeppner, and that's great. I'm Time's Person of the Year. So there. Meanwhile, the Internet service here is the slowest I've ever seen. Loading regular pages is ok, but watching videos or downloading anything sizeable is practically impossible. *Le sigh* At least I'm not restricted to 5 GB a month!

I didn't know Tropicana was a Japanese brand.

I'm in the midst of a busy time (by my standards). But that's good because I actually feel like I'm doing something.

I'm astonished by how little I know about politics, and how few issues about which I actually have an opinion.

I'm sick, joy. More than the typical allergies. This comes complete with headache, sore throat, and general crappiness. I feel quite a bit better than I did during class. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. If not, at least tomorrow is the best day for me to miss classes ( Read more... )
