It was a pretty nice weekend. I didn't work long OR late on Friday; I took some comp time and didn't go in until the afternoon. I made it to Wendy's house right on time for our regular Friday night thing, which was fun as always, with Candace's amazing stress-killing custom blender drinks and a great dinner that Julie made. Mike just called from home...apparently Harley ate a bird...in our bedroom. He said there's no body to be found, but there are feathers strewn *everywhere.*

About once a day Mike reminds me of why we should have selected another dog (a certain, particular dog that he wanted) rather than Harley. This was today's reason.

we got through a huge chunk of my tattoo today. what I am having done is a maple branch that crosses my shoulders in the back, with leaves that are turning from green to orange, and a bird is flying off the end of the branch. he finished the bird entirely and he did the whole outline of the branch & leaves with a little shading.
