we got through a huge chunk of my tattoo today. what I am having done is a maple branch that crosses my shoulders in the back, with leaves that are turning from green to orange, and a bird is flying off the end of the branch. he finished the bird entirely and he did the whole outline of the branch & leaves with a little shading. it's so purty. i can't wait to see the finished leaves, if the shading in the bird is any indication of this guy's talent.

i forgot to ask - what is their recommended aftercare? i'm just curious, as each shop seems to have their own tried-n-true method.

I was supposed to leave the bandages on overnight (I did) and wash it using clean fingertips in the AM (Mike did it for me). Gentle washing only for a few days, and then eventually, light lotion. I guess all of that will require assistance.
