The first thing Tony does is unzip.

He’s the first to move, or breathe, or do anything really-Steve, if it is Steve, if they’ve actually switched bodies rather than stuff two consciousnesses into one body and left Tony’s a hollow shell, Steve seems to be frozen. With shock, probably, not Capsicle frozen. So maybe what Tony does could be called an attention grabber, something to snap Steve out of it.

But really he just needs to know. For science.

I FORGOT ABOUT SPN_J2_XMAS. DEAR BRAIN: WHAT THE FUCK.

I mean, I have my assignment and it is lovely and I braindumped like eight hundred words of describing the action at a friend the other week, so making word count in actual story ought to be a piece of cake. It just hasn't crossed my mind in a while to try.

My problem with spn_j2_xmas (EVERY YEAR) is not making the min word count--BUT KEEPING MYSELF FROM TURNING IT INTO 20K+ BIG BANG TYPE STUFF. Like. No. Keep it simple, self, work with the things they like, it is a present!

...aaand then last year there I was panic-writing it right up until the absolute last second. SIGH. So this year I'm starting early, with the knowledge that working on it will get borked with nano starting up in a few days :/
