This isn't what you asked (I'm incapable of following rules) but I was just wondering what it would be like if after Steve's mom dies and his dad ships him and Mary out, what it'd be like if Steve ended up in Jersey...and maybe ran into Danny. They'd be teenagers. Is there fic of this, do you think?

....I think there SHOULD BE fic of this, if there isn't already. Okay, let's say they're around the same age, maybe Danny is a sophmore, Steve is a Junior. They're both jocks, but Danny's alllll about baseball, man, and he's loud and popular for all that he's still fiesty and somewhat abrasive, and Steve's a football guy, kind of quiet and sad, keeps to himself, but they have the same gym class and there's just something about this guy that Danny fixates on. All the girls are like ooooo Steve how is Hawaiiiiii and Danny can tell it's making the guy uncomfortable, all the touching, so he extricates Steve and tries to take Steve under his wing, but Steve is all "No, thanks," and shrugs away from him ( ... )

Eeee~! YES! Can Steve's low opinion of Jersey show up too? So Danny makes it a mission to prove to Steve that Jersey is better than silly, sunny Hawaii and maybe it turns into a role reversal where Steve's the one putting postcards of Hawaii into, I dunno, Danny's locker? Cos for some reason I can totally see Steve taking over Danny's locker. Maybe Danny doesn't have his own car yet.

Ohhhhh tough one. If I was writing it, I'd probably stick with wrestling-turned-frottage and just let them rut against each other, rolling around until they get off. But if I had to pick? Man, I can't see Eliot giving it up for anyone except Haridson, and he'd manhandle Dean a bit until Dean was like, "Dude, chill," and then as soon as he had Eliot's dick in him he'd turn into a total power bottom and make Eliot his bitch. :D

Oooh, I can see the frottage. That was exactly my problem, I can't see either Dean or Eliot bottoming for anyone else but for their other half. I can see them becoming really good friends though.

Oh, and if you're wondering at the bit of Irish in the earlier comment, I was kinda being silly but it was also something I say. My Dad's dad is an O'Brien but the only of Irish I've got in me is quoting Dad every now and then.

ETA: Dad's Mum, I meant, otherwise I'd still be an O'Brian. She died just before Dad married Mum, so he has never talked about her. I think he carries her around still, though.

Hooooooo. That is tough. I'm half-inclined to agree with you (not for letter reasons) because John just assumes the American Navy guy is toppy and he's flexible, he really doesn't care, but HNNNN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT TODAY, BUT I WANT STEVE TO BOTTOM FOR EEEEVERYONE.

Yeah, BBC Watson. Not that movie!Watson wasn't lovely, but Freeman's Watson rocks my world a little.

I love bottom!Steve so much, but aside from the letter reason *L* I think Steve would assume he would have to top because he's a BAMF, because he's a SEAL, because he's American, because his dad would've been a top, etc. And I think John would get all that about him, and go with it, but he would totally top from the bottom and completely shatter Steve....
