So Patrick and I are leaving Friday for Virginia.  We're canceling our internet and cable tomorrow, so this will be my last chance to update for a while.  Not that I update much anyway, but you know.  Definitely am anxious to get all of our stuff unpacked again in VA, since that will mean we've found an apartment and won't have to sleep on an air ( Read more... )

So Finals are officially over.  My last finals week at UW.   Saaaaaaad.  kinda.  Obviously I'm happy to be done with all of that, but I am sad that I won't be able to call UW home soon.  Of course I will be able to come back and all of that, but... it just isn't the same.  Will definitely miss walking around campus every day.  Hopefully GMU will ( Read more... )

So I just bought tickets to see Radiohead August 20th at the White River Ampitheater.  This means I will also be buying plane tickets from Virginia to Seattle to do this, but I think overall it will be worth it to see mom and dad and my sis (and radiohead) one final time before classes start up the next week.  Oh by the way, I guess I never posted ( Read more... )

So I finished everything class related for Winter Quarter 2008, and am now free for Spring Break until classes start up again.  Except I'm checking out schools pretty much the whole time, so it's not exactly a vacation, but I'll try to have fun in between being nervous.  Shouldn't be too bad- I'm already in the schools, so what's the worst that can ( Read more... )

So I'm writing a paper for my American Popular Music class on the use of popular music in commercials. Finished Blood of the Fold (book 3 of Sword of Truth series). It was badass. I have all the rest in the series now (thanks to half price books) and am looking forward to reading them, but right now I'm going to read J.R.R Tolkien, Artist and Illustrator next. Just got back from my first lecture in the Tolkien series. IT WAS AWESOME! Everything an uber dork like me could wish for. Except for noticing the nature of the other people in the lecture hall... (psst, they looked DORKY! GASP!)
