So Finals are officially over. My last finals week at UW. Saaaaaaad. kinda. Obviously I'm happy to be done with all of that, but I am sad that I won't be able to call UW home soon. Of course I will be able to come back and all of that, but... it just isn't the same. Will definitely miss walking around campus every day. Hopefully GMU will fill that void for the next two years though. I think it will. I liked the campus a lot. (obviously not as beautiful as here, but seriously, where can you see Suzzallo, Mt. Rainier, Cherry Blossoms, and Drumheller all in one view?) It will be a huge change, as I keep saying- but still don't comprehend fully, but I think it'll be a really great opportunity. Still have no official move date. Everything depends on everything else, as usual, but I think we'll find out soon. Now, all I have to focus on is my recital, which I am super excited for. I hope it goes well. I've been working on it for a long time, but these things do not always go as intended. I think it'll be good though. I've played my pieces for audiences several times, so I think the nerves should be less of an issue... though still a factor. Oh I guess I have not announced that here yet...
SENIOR TROMBONE RECITAL
SUNDAY JUNE 15TH
BRECHEMIN AUDITORIUM- MUSIC BUILDING
7:30 PM
...or, as Steve so more artistically states:
It's smaller than it's supposed to be, but I can't figure out how to change that... or don't feel like taking the time to figure it out, more like. See the poster in the music building for all of its glory. It is truly badass. Steve did an awesome job. I am totally framing one.
