I remarked to Wendy yesterday that there are no manuals for how to deal with the aftermath of a close relative's death.  While it isn't  my intent to be "irreverent" (whatever that actually means), I have found that sifting through the rubble of my mother's life has been more of a trial than I might have thought it ever could be.  As I am an only ( Read more... )

one of those goosebump moments... krystalemerges March 23 2007, 06:59:58 UTC
when the clock mentioned 3:28, I knew that time (I think you shared it before...)

and while my own energy is low, I am mentally sending you what energy I can. for you are right, you have sent much 'help' my direction.

Even with the help of a sibling, it is a daunting task...one I managed to somehow get partially done, but the remainder is a bit of crap that I just couldn't deal with that is at the back of my storage trailer in my sister's backyard...I will deal with it...someday

Hey, girl! Thanks for the good thoughts & energy. :) Things are winding down here, though there are still a couple of items I MUST get rid of before we leave, and damned if I know what to do with them. One is her car, the other is her Yamaha organ. Both are too big & cumbersome to bring home to California, so... *gak* I could have left 2 days ago if not for that. *sigh ( ... )

If you head to Mouse hell...check out Epcot Center, the world of imagination and Figment are great (figment is the only DW only character that I know about, and he is adorable.

We did the second ritual at the store...it was wonderful, but I did something stupid and my energy was 'gone'...sending out anything negative has it's price as I learned...(it was done after the ritual, with my energy high and boomoranged...I think I learned my lesson...

Do they have a 'cars for causes' organization you can get rid of the car through?

I remember the 'poverty' when I was down there...
