ALso, if I see that fucking "Cool motive, still murder" gif one more time I will literally eat my fucking hat and vomit it back up all over my computer screen.When I saw your post about that, I actually make a screen shot of it because I wanted to talk more about it? Because while I feel your frustrated (and that gif is usually directed at characters I love) at the same time I still find it delightful

Like, the reason that Jake from B99 can be ‘cool motive, still murder’ is that WITHIN THE WORLD OF THE SHOW, there is pretty much nothing worse than murder. This are cops who we’ve seen with paintballs guns more than we’ve seen them with actual firearms.That is a really, really good point that legitimately didn't occur to me

And like, I know on some level that's just the nature of the internet/people delegitimizing ideas they disagree with, and that it's pretty easy to just delete the gif and reblog the rest, but it still really bugs me. I really don't want to be a person who can't be reasonably disagreed with, overall, but I have a really hard time with being dismissed.

And that gif is clearly a great way to dismiss someone without actually having to critically engage in whatever they're actually saying.
