Tyrone Biggums no more!

Well I can't believe it's taken me this long to update. Oh wait, yes I can! I didn't have a home until this past weekend! We were finally able to find a place to live after a solid month of searching. Not being able to speak Korean really worked against us but we finally found a place that has the location, size, and price that we could work with. ( Read more... )

Oh I have a great Japanese fish recipe if you want. Teriyaki and fish don't tend to go well together lol.

Kyoto is great. If you end up going I can take you to all the nicer temples and we can have lunch and stuff in my hangout spots. Any idea when Evan would come over?

Oooh please please send the recipe. I was hoping you would chime in... You always have good food! :( It's strange you say teriyaki and fish don't go well together. Why'd they have so many recipes for it?! lol Stupid Ask Jeeves!

Well actually I guess I should've told you sooner but we MIGHT be coming this weekend (I didn't say anything because we still don't know if his fucking visa has been processed, grrr!). This is when his visa is supposed to have been processed so if not this weekend then for sure next because after that I am going to blow his job up. Are you going to be available this weekend at all??

MUTHAFUCK and MMMM all at once!

Thanks, you may have just made my wedding even more awesome! I just sent that over to the caterer and I hope it's not too expensive for them to make for the price they quoted. I told her I might be able to get some of that stuff in Japan or cheaply at a local Asian grocery store. I'm glad whitefish can be used!

I can't believe you won't be there this weekend. Sad sad sad!!! Well, we actually still have the option of doing our visa run in the 2 places you mentioned and meeting up but if your plans are with others who don't want other dumbass Americans crashing, then perhaps we'll just stick with Osaka or Nagoya (turns out there is no consulate in Kyoto, drats!)

i just got my africa vaccinations last week. the yellow fever is the worst. but as the doctor put it "a few days with sore arms is better than getting yellow fever or malaria"
have fun in africa. i am looking forward to going to ghana.

Dude, you're going to Africa too? When? Are you going through the Peace Corps or another program or for school? That's pretty awesome! Shit, I need to come visit you in Ghana then. I want to see as much as possible of Africa while I'm there.

Is Ghana as malaria-stricken as the EG?

Lucky you, that's a cool job! Good luck to you too. Sounds like it will be an adventure. Maybe you'll end up in the PC afterwards, that is if your job doesn't send you again! ;)
