Tyrone Biggums no more!

Well I can't believe it's taken me this long to update. Oh wait, yes I can! I didn't have a home until this past weekend! We were finally able to find a place to live after a solid month of searching. Not being able to speak Korean really worked against us but we finally found a place that has the location, size, and price that we could work with. ( Read more... )

Oh I have a great Japanese fish recipe if you want. Teriyaki and fish don't tend to go well together lol.

Kyoto is great. If you end up going I can take you to all the nicer temples and we can have lunch and stuff in my hangout spots. Any idea when Evan would come over?

Oooh please please send the recipe. I was hoping you would chime in... You always have good food! :( It's strange you say teriyaki and fish don't go well together. Why'd they have so many recipes for it?! lol Stupid Ask Jeeves!

Well actually I guess I should've told you sooner but we MIGHT be coming this weekend (I didn't say anything because we still don't know if his fucking visa has been processed, grrr!). This is when his visa is supposed to have been processed so if not this weekend then for sure next because after that I am going to blow his job up. Are you going to be available this weekend at all??

Aww, this weekend I'll actually be in Sendai and Tokyo :( I'm totally free next weekend though and David's going to be in Europe ( ... )

MUTHAFUCK and MMMM all at once!

Thanks, you may have just made my wedding even more awesome! I just sent that over to the caterer and I hope it's not too expensive for them to make for the price they quoted. I told her I might be able to get some of that stuff in Japan or cheaply at a local Asian grocery store. I'm glad whitefish can be used!

I can't believe you won't be there this weekend. Sad sad sad!!! Well, we actually still have the option of doing our visa run in the 2 places you mentioned and meeting up but if your plans are with others who don't want other dumbass Americans crashing, then perhaps we'll just stick with Osaka or Nagoya (turns out there is no consulate in Kyoto, drats!)

I actually have no clue really what we're doing in Sendai lol. My friend is leaving for the States on Sunday and she wanted this to be her last Japan trip so I'm kind of tagging along. But Sunday in Tokyo I think I'm pretty much on my own until I catch my flight to Osaka. Maybe we can meet for lunch or something!

Suhweet! I'll let you know but by the lack of response from Evan's boss, I am thinking we might be here until next week, in which case, WE'RE CRASHING AT YOUR PLACE, if that's okay with you of course! lol. OMG, people scare me with how expensive they say Japan is. It wasn't so bad for us because we were there less than 24 hours but still lol. Do they have Ringerhut near you? That food was YUM YUM good!

That should be no problem, especially since David will be out of town. I just have to clean the place lol.

I've never heard of Ringerhut, but we've got some tasty places around here. Maybe what we can do is spend Saturday in Kyoto, and then Sunday do more local stuff before you have to head back.

Ringerhut looks like Pizza Hut but serves Japanese food that looks like vomit and tastes like heaven lol. Maybe it's just a Fukuoka thing?

I will let you know ASAP about our status. As it looks right now, it's going to be damn difficult getting anywhere in Japan this weekend with such short notice. I don't know if his damn bosses think of that little problem. So it looks like we might have to come next weekend if that's the case and totally screw up his birthday bonanza weekend. Totally K-style, natch.

Where in Europe is your honey going?
