Summary: They like to drink and play and forget together. Set after Jay left, from Taecyeon's point of view.
Soohyun's been coming over almost nightly now, not that anyone in the 2PM dorm minds. Shots are poured and the beer's brought out and tired bodies settle onto the living room floor. Taecyeon grabs a beer and watches Junho, as always, take his place next to Soohyun. Hiding his smirk behind his bottle, Taecyeon exchanges a knowing look with Nichkhun who shrugs before grabbing a drink for himself.
Wooyoung excuses himself before the first round of shots is poured but they're used to it by now. Soohyun downs his quickly, resting his head on Junho's shoulder. Junho smiles and pours him another, a strange look in his eyes as Soohyun drinks it. Chansung grabs the beer out of Taecyeon's hand and chugs it before stretching out on the floor, his head resting on Nichkhun's leg. Junsu has taken over the couch, demanding refills from Junho in between Soohyun's countless refills.
Soohyun's a happy drunk, prone to bursting into song with alcohol still in his mouth, though he's known to act similarly when completely sober. But there's something... off about him when he's drunk- something, looser, more open, needier. He wraps his arms around Junho's neck and rubs their noses together while humming a tune Taecyeon vaguely recognizes. He sighs as Junho runs his hands up his sides before settling on Soohyun's waist. He welcomes Junho's lips in a hungry kiss when the other boy leans forward.
The pair flop onto the floor in a mess of open-mouth kisses and frantic hands, and Taecyeon looks away partially to give them privacy but mostly because he's seen it so often nowadays he has the scene burned into his mind. Junho's hands get Soohyun's shirt open a little too quickly for one supposedly drunk, Soohyun doesn't even notice and moans appreciatively as Junho's hands explore his toned chest and abs.
None of them understand it. Junsu thinks Junho misses the days when Wooyoung would drink with him, Nichkhun thinks Junho's just drunk and Chansung doesn't care as long as Junho will still play with him. Taecyeon thinks he gets it but keeps his theory to himself for Junho's sake.
But as Junho kisses Soohyun's neck, a name falls from the plastered boy's mouth that Taecyeon only recognizes from television and a brief introduction he can't really remember. Junho stops and buttons back up Soohyun's shirt, his hands visibly shaking. Soohyun mumbles something that sounds like a protest, but within minutes his eyes fall shut. Junho returns Soohyun's head to his shoulder and grabs his shot glass, emptying it for the first time all night.
Taecyeon pretends he hasn't seen anything and wishes it didn't have to be this way.
