Eeeeee, so what's new...
I started a fantasy novel. It's on its nineth page, has some solid planning behind it, characters I'm comfortable with, and a currently fluid plot. I'm trying to cultivate a zero-tolerance to clichés. Here's a few snippets:

So, they're closing Rome, and by 'they', I mean the Mod, "Nox" (who neglected the setting anyway even though she created the thing), and the Group Admin, "Sin". I felt hurt because they didn't ask us all first, even though they knew what we'd say, because it's a matter of principle. Catch up
The fencing end of year meal was absolutely brilliant - I don't think I've ever had such a good night out! Dropped off my French work this morning and went to the Accommodation Office and said 'Help!'. The woman gave me an application for uni accom for next year and also mentioned there was one house with one room free...

So apparently there's going to be a flashmob in Aber on Saturday, in the form of a spontaneous pillow fight at the clock tower at 11.45.
