Househunting and Grafitti

Ahhh, what to say...  Other than I "upgraded" to a Plus account because I'm addicted to userpics.  And I think I ate too much Nutella, cos the smell is knocking me sick.  *Removes bowl from table*

So.  What's been happening?  Well, I got the list of flats for rent from the Accommodation Office, found four that look good, rang them all up the morning and have three viewings to go to.  And it was such a lovely day that I underdressed dramatically considering the cold weather, and went looking for them all.  Rheidol Terrace looks about the best, since there'll be five lads in the house below (aaaand hold that thought!  Better because I get along better with guys!), and it's in a really cosy location by the harbour - no internet or bills mentioned in the booklet, but I'm going to ask if I can put a phone line in if not.  *Shrug*  Failing that, there's Clive House on Marine Terrace just down the road, or the lovely house on North Road.  I think The Firs will be taken by a 3-party...  Shame, it was my original first choice.

And then I came back, ate, sat and messed around my desk, then grabbed a notepad, paper and jumper and climbed up Constitution Hill on a complete whim.  I used none of them, you understand, that's just me thinking 'Yeah, I'll go and do some writing, but I'll take a jumper cos it'll get cold'.  Well, I was far too enchanted by the view to even think about Victorian London, and I wasn't that cold after walking up.  Wearing my 'Elementary' dancing men top also doubles as fingerless gloves since the sleeves are so long!

I also did a bit of natural art while I was up there...  Or grafitti.  Whichever you prefer.  The hill's pretty much made of slate, and chips and flakes of it make up the sides of the path - so I randomly stopped and tried drawing on one flat piece with another pointy piece.  It worked.  Wheels began turning...  Soon enough I'd written out, in semi-calligraphy, bits and bobs from the song Em sent me a while ago called 'Strange and Beautiful (I'll Put A Spell On You)' by Aqualung.  Go MySpace them to listen to it (I just used 'MySpace' as an imperative verb...).  I arranged 'em all arty like and took a photo, then lined them up in order along the wall.  *Shrug*  Hopefully someone will be intrigued, or if I'm really lucky, worried by them.  O:)  The song reminds me of the way I feel/used to feel about Charlie.  'I've been watching your world from afar / I've been trying to be where you are / I've been secretly falling apart / Unseen'.

I need more interesting music like that...  my Misc folder on my MP3 player is getting predictable.
