Well!

Much to my surprise, a certain someone has managed to sneak out a book release without me knowing.  This is both an area of chagrin ("Ayah!  It's been out for more than a day and I didn't know!") and jubilation ("AAAAH!  BOOK SQUEE!!!") for me, so after my most horrible, awful day at work today, I set out to find a copy.  3 book stores and nearly ( Read more... )

Then again, I went out to the Vortex tonight with some friends and drank a whole pitcher worth of beer, so I'm feeling pretty good, too.

It's sad, I really have to be in just the right mindset to appreciate it... if I can achieve that zen-like state of "Cool! New City!!" then I'm great. Otherwise I spend the whole trip going "rawr, want to go home to my people and my dog and my bed and my things!"

AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAH!! I got to the certain part at lunch today. I had just taken a sip of water and I nearly snorked it out my nose - everyone in the dining room must have though I was nuts with the belly laugh I let out *dies laughing*
