EMFIC! THERE IS EMFIC!! :DDDDD past the initial :D-face my expression got a bit more complicated because I always want to kill you and wear your skin just to see if it will let me write like you. I understand that you AB blood types will recognize this as the sign of desperate admiration that it is and not actually report me to the police (but will it let me write like you????)

I mean your writing is just so DEFT, and your dialogue is so-- it makes me want to roll it around in my mouth and say it out loud, there's such a sharp rhythmic pleasure to it, and JUST EVERYTHING OKAY. Sometimes this Arthur reminds me a lot of you! Not in the sense that EM I KNOW YOU AND THIS ARTHUR IS EXACTLY LIKE YOU, and definitely not in the sense that you are dead inside (even if Arthur isn't really dead inside...!) but more like, the insights and opinions Arthur has about himself ring really true as thoughts a person would have about himself,

Haaaaaaa this story is so dialogue heavy compared to my other stuff...MY FINDINGS: it is extremely easy to go on and on with no real point. Wry is writing so complicated ;___;

Em I am beginning to suspect that you do not actually know what pointless writing is, because this... this isn't pointless... in fact nothing you have written has ever been pointless... you need to be sent to some sort of inverse creative writing class, where all you encounter is terrible writing that makes various sorts of mistakes and you read it all and you are like MAN, I AM REALLY GOOD! because it would be true. >:|

I am at work, presumably doing library-ish things, but instead I am crouched over my work station reading your fic, minimizing the window every time I can hear my supervisor look by and putting an extremely blank expression on my face, like I am thinking of catalogue records when really I am thinking of this fic, this lovely, charming, wrenching fic that is just so you and all the things you are amazing at. The way you write, the way your characters speak -- I think, in a very real and meaningful sense, your stories are the worlds I want to live in. The worlds where Arthur has perfected the art of jogging backwards, the worlds where Eames has to send fake breakup notices to gauge Arthur's interest in him, and maybe not so much the world where someone does not know what Frogger is (omg), but everything else.

You are so good at capturing something human, is probably the best way I can put it. I just -- it is amazing, okay.
