Loki is in shock. Momma doesn't want me? ;__; Why momma, why? ;_________;

I suspect that he's been willfully and selectively blind for a while, to keep himself from hurting. Because Frigga by his bedside yelling at him when he woke up, as a child? Yeaaaah. Was he sickly, or was he asassinated?

(Maybe momma didn't want him to come back ever...)

Bestla totally painted herself blue for the honeymoon, assuming in this verse she's not a Jotun.

GODDAMNIT. I was typing up a crackish addition in which grampy Bor told the best stories and had a Jotun fetish. The story included him passing his sons off as girls--because if they were found they'd be more likely to be captured rather than gelded and killed. And they all had knives hidden in their very very girly stuffed animals. Odin's was a pale blue bunny with imported lace skirt.

Cul really reallyt hated being forced to crossdress, and the one time he didn't he ended up getting horribly mangled and then the littles didn't complain ever after.

And it was eaten by suddenly, ADS, ADS EVERYWHERE.

She'd had the servants move the body, but washed it -him- herself. He hadn't hurt her. He called her Mother, and yet she struck her boy -Because it, he, was her boy as much as Loki had been. He possessed all Loki's memories, Loki's tongue, Loki's laugh and Loki's wide, expressive eyes.- down like some flighty, panicing strumpet instead of the steady anchor she is supposed to be.

AllMother.

Loki's Mother.

That one's mother. Her little cuckoo, but her's nevertheless, and when the guards arrived to see her pale mourning dress drenched in heart's-blood they struck her boy. Spear piercing, fists hammering at what could only be a legendary draugur sent to rip apart the royal family.

If so, he was succeeding.

Her skin itched where the dried blood held fabric in place, but she couldn't leave her boy's side, and she wouldn't let anyone else in. Asgard needed her Prince, and Thor could not afford the distraction.

For all his power, Odin knew nothing of thisFrigga sat at her vigil, sleepless red eyes watching the recumbent, ( ... )

Link to the drgaon Jane fic, please? And my brain is being evil and sugesting that someone in the house of Bor did something filthy to the blue lacy bunny. IDK why

Grandfather told wonderful tales, stories no one else dared to say. Like how, in the time when the Aesir were still a roving band, he had forced his four sons to dress as maidens in childhood.

"Now, y' see, back then they would have cut off their goolies and killed em as soon as they saw em. If they didn't, it wasn't for nothing soft like randsom; end the line and you end the competition." Of course, blood, which Loki lacked lacked lacked, was so important to the Aesir. "But the girls. They could ransom them, mebe make claim to the lines if they killed off all the boys. So they jus' stole em and when they were old enough to get with child, rape em. T'aught nice, but a slight better than the alter ( ... )

Och. I would say that it gets worse before it gets better... but it probably isn't going to get better. And Everyone not Loki is going to be flipping out once the implications of Loki's inability to stay dead set in.

'Specially Odin.

Because I can see Bor getting permission to haunt his youngest and be all 'I taught you better than that!' and 'look at the cute little'un, he's crying at it's ALL YOUR FAULT, for shame.' And then asking if you can disown someone from beyond the grave.

You just keep adding more and more sadness to this. I approve. But some Other Immortals are getting ready to go to the rescue!

I wanted to write a Loki/Illyria tentacle kink bit, but everytime I tried to type my fingers froze up. And then I feel down some stairs today. So I did this instead.
____
After having your liver and spleen pecked out everyday for an eternity (five hundred solar years, two hundred sixty six days, eleven hours, five minutes, thirty two seconds…) little things like an invasion don't seem as important as they should. First it was Persians, then the Romans, then the Mongols, the British, the German… they all start to blur together into one big party so that doors on Janus' temple are ever-open. Even the arial assault lost its shine after the damn blitzkrieg, but then he supposed that if the newsreels weren't doctored this latest assault had been a lightning war of sorts ( ... )

Hey, I like my feels. And you like my feels. And I need to type here to make up for not typing elsewhere.

Mm, to avoid stepping on your toes, I'm assuming that Loki was the one who freed Prometheus?

These theives such as they, light bringers, fire callers, they are the ones who stand when their pantheons crumble.

Correct. Wandering!Loki showed up and freed Promethus, then they hunted the Liver-Eating Menace and roasted it over a bit of stolen fire. The taste was glorious.

Yes, I do enjoy replying with fic within the hour of you posting it.

He had not been ever kind and ever reasonable when he was first back. Oh, he had taunted Odin so. "You would have disowned me, would you not? Or severed my head from my body for a hundred years or more," it would not have killed him, his eyes would have woken, his body would have moved, given enough time. How else could he suffer? "And I see it in your one blind eye, I am correct! Look! See how he does not deny it! I know you, now without the illusions and lies of love to blind me. You would have done it all. All for the same failings as you blood, cruelty for me where Thor had been shown mercy. And now, with the Dwarven words saying I am not your foundling...you will show me more mercy than you would have if I was called true! Oh, that is. A. laugh. It's a useful excuse, and if I had more faith in you I'd give my thanks ( ... )

Do you just, keep fic on file and wait for me to post before putting it out? I feel very flattered if you do, and a tiny bit guilty.

The visuals of Odin's eye buldging make me laugh, because I can see him thinking 'Shit! I thought struck the histories of all that! HOW DOES HE KNOW????' And then Bor shows up and starts modifying the rabbit to have Loki's lines and stuff, and Loki is all 'Bunny for me!' And not happy because on the one hand it's something of Odin's he can call his own and on the other it is something of That Man's that he shouldn't feel the need to call his own...

and then drunken fun times.

No actually. I used to for Comicbook heroes. But you see, when inspiration strikes I can write incredibly fast. And you are very inspiring my dear.

Bor might be already there, I left it kinda ambiguious. Whispering in people's ears to make them feel gulty. He's a ghost so they don't see him.

I just...Odin asking how does he KNOW and Loki giving him a look like he's espically stupid because Granda told him, DUH. Did you miss the part where I die in this story or something? I am a god, of course I know.

Things were going missing in the palace.

Laughter was gone, tricks and magic and teases. In their place, confined to one place, were tears and poison.

But on the more physical side of things, someone had been stealing from Frigga's weaving rooms.

Silks and lace and ribbons. Needles and batting.

His wife cornered him outside of Loki's new rooms, "Husband, I am concerned. Now the best blue silk from Alfheim, they took the threads too, and the undyed works! It is only fortunet that there had been no work done upon it yet."

Odin shivered, held his hand up to keep Loki's friends from going back inside. For a little while at least.

"You made the cute little 'un cry, again. For shame. Are you proud of yourself, Borson?""I...I shall look into it. Personally if it is your wish." Frigga looked at him in concern; he did not care. He needed a distraction ( ... )
