I love your points about Robin's transition mirroring Blaine's. I did not know about Robin as I'm not really familiar with the Batman comics, but I hope a major transition for Blaine is the case. I definitely think he needs to define himself on his own terms and become his own person.

I don't claim to be a comics expert or anything, but what I do know about Dick Grayson seems extremely fitting here. I feel like all the pieces are being put into place for something good for him. We'll just have to wait and see if the writers take advantage of them, of course!

Thanks for the lovely comment :)

I was ridiculously excited to see someone else making that Nightwing connection and putting the evolution of Dick Grayson as a [hopefully] parallel evolution of Blaine Anderson into words.

I am by no means a comics expert, but from what I know about that story, it seems *so* fitting. Hopefully the writers are doing something with it!

I love Blaine Anderson, and I love your analyses of him. This one is marvelous. I am actually allowing myself to believe that the writers are taking Blaine's storyline seriously and slowly, rather than just having sacrificed his character for shock's sake. And I think (hope?) that the key person to the saving of Blaine Anderson (besides Blaine, of course) is Burt. Let's hope the writers don't let us down.

I can't wait to see Dalton again.

I'm really hoping that we'll get to see Blaine's turnaround begin in "Dynamic Duets" since all the pieces seem to be falling into place for that to happen. Of course, this is Glee so everything could fall to shit, but hey. I'll be crossing my fingers. And yes, Burt! Really looking forward to the upcoming Burt/Blaine interaction :)

Thanks for the lovely comment!

@purplehrdwonder:
So it's obviously been quite a while since the break-up, as well as the Dynamic Duets episode, so I'm wondering what your thoughts are now, especially given how Blaine was reacting to Kurt's continuous "we're JUST FRIENDS" in "I Do", which I thought showed significant character development on its own...

So yes. What are your thoughts on how the writers have developed Blaine's character this season?

I'd be so excited for you to do another essay-thing. I love reading your thoughts because they're always so insightful. (I tend to psychoanalyze the interesting characters while I watch TV, lol, and it's nice to know I'm not the only one ( ... )
