Ive been so terribly conflicted. picking the right school was half the battle; now I have to pick the next fork in my life, and with every narrower path, the more scared I am of picking the wrong way

How I see it, animation's more your speed -- giving (your) characters vitality -- but illustration would make you leap out of your comfort zone like a skydiver, exposing you to a ton of different drawing styles, plus there's the whole freelancing thing. You're pretty well suited for both so it's really all about that decision, I think.

Also. Unashamedly awkward guy says no, just honest. And that's the way to roll...or skydive.
