Starting this afternoon, I am finally officially on vacation for about two weeks. I haven't had a day off since May, so I don't think it's really going to hit me until tomorrow when I won't have to be anywhere. Just got back from having my ankle x-rayed. There is no breakage, it is just sprained. Wheeeeeeeeew. The doctor told me not to walk dogs for the next few days. The bruising is going to get worse over the next few days and it will look spectacularly gruesome, but everything is going to be fine.

Late last night I was finishing up with visiting a cat and fell down some stairs on the front walk. My left ankle is so swollen today that it looks like half a tennis ball with a slightly blue tinge is attached to it. For the first time in the almost 5 years I've been a dog walker I had to call my clients today and cancel all their walks. ( Read more... )
