I am a full time dog walker and pet sitter with a tax code registered through the state of Washington and the federal government. In addition I pay for liability insurance and bonding.

My sister decided to "be honest" with me and tell me that I "don't have a real job."

if you do work like a job, and get paid like a job, then it pretty much is as real as jobs can get.

You're job is about as real as they come. It's not an easy job by any stretch of the imagination. Sure you don't go to the same office everyday and get chained to a desk, but it doesn't mean your job is less real. You have all the responsibilities and stresses of any small business owner. If she thinks it's sooooo easy, then maybe she should try doing it for a day. Sorry your sister is being clueless. Big Hugs!!!
