Makubex arrived early, carrying a couple bags. He'd been terribly poor at saving money lately... Well, no matter, it was for a good cause.

"Ah, first one here?"

Euphemia gave a little start, not having expected the voice. She had never been too good around the dark; it was a girlish fear she'd never grown out of, and the light thrown off the fire served to make the darkness surrounding her much more frightening and foreign. She turned to MakubeX almost violently, hair whipping around her shoulders, and then she breathed a little sigh of relief when she was who it was. Her heart hammered in her chest, and she tried to even her breathing as she smiled, shakily.

"It looks like," she said, after an odd moment, "Did you... Do you need help with that?"

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you." He glanced about, surveying the area. An excellent location. "I've got it, but if you could direct me where you want it all...?"

Euphemia pointed to the table and laughed a bit nervously. It was only MakubeX, it was only MakubeX, it had not been some sort of wild beast or stampeding Godzilla or anything silly like that. She had no reason to be afraid (even though the dark was scary and she couldn't help that tug of fear at her conscience everytime she realized she couldn't see through it).

"I'm okay, really," Euphemia said, more of an effort to convince herself than MakubeX. "It's just. You surprised me, really."

Toshiki had made it a point to help get the site set up (along with lugging the firewood he'd collected along, as well). He'd returned home for awhile at least, in order to get himself cleaned up presentable.

And... ah, to get Kazuki, as well, who insisted he was waiting for Vincent. The blonde had only given him a Look, and it spoke volumes if what he was thinking. Kazuki smiled, though the gesture was thin, and simply told him, 'Go.'

So Toshiki had gone and decided not to worry over the thread-user, if he could help it. For no other reason than... he was supposed to be at this little gathering with someone, right? (That thought still sat awkwardly with him. Not because he minded - not in the least - it was just... out of the norm ( ... )

Makubex frowned briefly at Toshiki before laughing and swatting playfully at his hand.

"So, where's the rest of our motley crew?"

Toshiki's hand fell away, broad shoulders lifting in a shrug. "Fuyuki said he had plans, I think. Kazuki's..." he trailed off, a frown tugging at his features, and absently his gaze averted, staring into the fire as though it were the most interesting thing in the world.

"I think Kazuki wanted to be left alone for while. Maybe he'll stop by later." It was always hard to tell with him; he always had his own agenda, after all. "And I do hope you weren't expecting me to bring Kagami."

Bright eyes flicked back to Makubex briefly, though it wasn't long before the blond was looking to Euphemia instead.

Makubex sighed. "I didn't think Kazuki'd be coming... But Shido did say he'd try to make it." Somehow, Makubex had a feeling he'd be seeing Kagami soon enough, so he didn't mention it. Following Toshiki's gaze, Makubex shrugged and busied himself arranging the table.

Claire arrived by herself, bundled up enough to stay warm. She didn't know the few people who had already gathered, but still made her way near the group all the same. She stood close by, but didn't join them. She didn't want to butt in to any conversations they may have been having.

She offered them a wave in greeting, and found a place to sit down. She hadn't brought anything with her, and felt a bit bad about that. Maybe they wouldn't notice she had come empty handed.

"Hopefully." She whispered to herself, as she stared over at the fire.

Satisfied that Toshiki and Euphemia were actually going to at least attempt to speak to each other, Makubex made his way over to the newcomer. He didn't seem to mind (or notice) that she hadn't brought anything.

"Hello."

"Hey there." She smiled brightly, flipping her hand up in a lazy wave. "I'm Claire. I don't know anyone here, so sorry to crash your party." She laughed, reaching up to rub at the back of her neck. "I heard everyone was invited, though. That's true, right?"

"Ah. The girl with all the questions, yes? I'm Makubex. Nice to finally meet you." He smiled reassuringly. "It's alright. Euphemia-san wanted this to be open to everyone, so it isn't crashing if you're invited."

It was hard to make a dramatic entrance without his powers, so Kagami merely approached the group like a normal person, leaving it up to his presence to do all the annoying for him. He came in whistling some tune he picked off the street, his earring-- it's a small wonder it hadn't been broken yet-- spinning and catching the flickering light of the bonfire.

The only pure Saiyan in Purgatorium, Raditz, made his arrival, dragging his dinner with him. A rather large snake, very much dead, trailed behind him. He'd found that some monsters here actually tasted quite nice, though admittedly there were others that were downright disgusting. "I believe this was a location given for a 'bonfire?'" the socially inept Saiyan asked. "I brought food, if anyone's hungry," he said with a grin, holding up the large serpent.

"I tried one earlier (though it was much smaller). They're good." He smirked and looked around, trying to see if he recognized anyone besides Claire (like that pale Touji person). However, there seemed to be no one he knew. That hardly mattered to Raditz. Any kind of company, after days of only Claire (no offense) made the normally solitary Saiyan a little more content. Hopefully they didn't mind him bringing his food with him, he hadn't had time to eat it before coming here.
