Schuldig wasn't suicidal, but then again, he wasn't around for Deidara's first event. What he did know was that buildings on fire was bad when there was no fire department. In his mind's eye, he could see that fire spreading to Sunde, Shin-Ra, Cissnei's house, or Shu's. He had already been out, dealing with that freak when he's seen the flames.

It was enough to bring him running. A bit on the tipping side he might be, but he had to make sure this wasn't spreading his way.

"Shit!" he snarled, looking up at the building and trying to judge if there was any chance of it spreading towards places he'd rather remain... oh... not blazing.

His gaze snapped to Deidara, no clue who this guy was although Medea or her man had threatened him with being that way once.

"What the fuck happened?"

Deidara considered going through the step-by-step detailed response that would tell Schuldig all he wanted to know about what the 'fuck' had happened and how the 'fuck' it had happened. He considered it, but then decided not to. Just like telling jokes, when art had to be explained, it lost its' touch.

Ah, but he was glad that somebody was around to experience the beauty of that blaze with him, even if the other seemed a little unappreciative.

"It's art!" Deidara told him triumphantly, throwing his hands up to the air and gesturing towards that fiery fury. If it spread, why should he care? Nothing was dead forever here... which Deidara was beginning to detest.

"That's not art. That's a disaster in the making."

Schuldig scowled, feeling sickly helpless at the fire. If it did start spreading through the city, there wouldn't be much to stop it. Even the snow that laid around wasn't enough to stop it. Why would someone set a fire anyways when there was so much danger? Even he wasn't that crazy.

Given Deidara's reaction, he doubted it was an accident. There was just nothing that could be done, damn it. Backing up a step, the black fury rose up in him again, wanting to strike out at anything, anyone. Tamping it down, Schuldig glared at Deidara. Schuldig had heard and felt the first explosion. Was this guy the cause?

"How did it start?"

"I'd show you how personally," said Deidara matter-of-factly, "but Asclepius would probably do worse things to me than you could imagine." He shrugged his shoulders and, with one final look toward Schuldig, turned his attention back to the blaze. What he'd give, for just one minute, to be able to do whatever he wanted with no fear of facing consequences ( ... )
