It's no good... Kakashi thought, He's not himself anymore... Then he saw the rings of fire hit into the monster before turning to see the source--who gave a little introduction. Well, that's a bit... awkward... Sailor Mars, eh? Kakashi reminded himself that he'd like for Rikku to dress that way sometime--just for kicks, of course.

Anyway, back to the task at hand... although the young lady had lauched fuda at Miroku, his monster form was able to tear right through them. And now he was heading for the young lady.

He quickly performed Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique), making two clones of himself--one rushed over to defend Rei. The other retracted the claw-like shuriken into its star mode, preparing to attack the monster. Kakashi himself then started the Raikiri (Lightning Blade) as his last resort attack. He didn't want to kill his friend, but it was too dangerous to just leave him like this... and there didn't seem to be any other way.

Watching Miroku tear her fuda, Rei took a step back with a weary look. 'Not good' she thought to herself. Worst, he hasn't respond to Kakashi's call. Rei watches a clone of Kakashi's in front of her. This guy works fast, she thought ( ... )

Miroku backed up a bit in hesitation. Now there were four people he had to contend with and Rei and the original Kakashi were about to launch more attacks. Growling, he launched himself at them once again, thrashing his arms wildly in an attempt to dig his claws into any of them.

One of Kakashi's bunshin took the hit and disappeared as a cloud of smoke. There was still one left, and Kakashi was still charging up the Raikiri--an upgraded version of Chidori (Thousand Birds), which was Kakashi's one and only original move and specifically a powerful assassin technique meant to take a person out in one hit.

Unless anything was able to stop Miroku now, Kakashi was almost ready to launch the lightning attack at the monster. But he hoped that it didn't have to come to that; if Sailor Mars could do something and save Miroku now, Kakashi wouldn't have to resort to this...

He had arrived some minutes later, but had silently watched the scene unfold. Kurama ignored who the masked ninja was, but it was clear he was fighting along with Rei. His emerald gaze fixed in the ghoulish daemon Miroku-san... what sort of venom afflicts you?, his thoughts mused and failing to understand. It was not the first time he found himself before a situation similar to this. His eyes locked for a brief moment in the ghoul's.

Unlike Rei and the ninja, he lacked of all supernatural power, gifted only by his experience. Kurama glanced back at Rei, holding a fiery arrow but hesitant. Miroku would continue attacking, it was evident. "There is only one cure... to that affliction. But..."

Still keeping distance from the scene, Kurama glanced back at the demon, as if questioning him, somehow, he trusted a part of the hoshi remained within, just to confirm his hypothesis.
